RECAP:

WPNA ASSISTS WITH STUART PLACE CLEAN UP

Members of the Wick Park Neighborhood Association assisted Common Wealth Inc. with the cleanup of the newly renovated "Stuart Place".

Stuart Place is an historic building, constructed in 1929 at 905 Elm Street. Located on Youngstown’s Northside, the Stuart Place Apartments were recently renovated by Common Wealth Inc. and feature six spacious one bedroom apartments with new kitchens and bathrooms, granite countertops, ceramic tile, hardwood floors, carpeting, energy efficient appliances, central heat and air, and off street parking. Convenient to Youngstown State University, St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Northside Medical Center and the downtown.

On the bottom floor (the former Penguin Pub and, later, Amy's Campus 2000) will be a state and FDA certified shared-use commercial kitchen facility. Such a facility will provide work space, equipment, and business advice for people interested in marketing value-added food products.

For more information on shared-use kitchen facilities, check out ACEnet’s website. ACEnet (The Appalachian Center for Economic Networks) is a very successful shared-use manufacturing facility in Athens, Ohio.
